WHY COACHING WORKS
Coaching delivers support at the point of performance and helps the individual develop skills and solutions to deal with specific areas of difficulty. After a detailed assessment, the Coach works in partnership with the client and has regular contact via meetings, telephone, text or email to ensure progression of the agreed aims.
• Coaching focuses on solutions and not problems
• It is totally non-judgemental and becomes a journey of self-discovery
• It delivers knowledge and information about AD/HD, empowering the individual to
take control of areas which may have previously seemed overwhelming
• It works with personal strengths to reveal inner resources and previously untapped
skills
• Unhelpful thought patterns and negative habits can be identified and positive change
introduced, resulting in raised self-esteem and increased self-awareness
• It develops achievable goals and motivates individuals to start taking positive steps
towards them
• It introduces structure and strategies to underpin life-choices
'What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving them.'
